Day ??

The last couple days was nuts. I never thought I’d ever meet so many people on this trip. On the day we went to Pompeii from Rome, we had to take two separate trains to get there, one to Naples then to Pompeii. So again, like always we get lost because of the limited English on the fucking trains lol, and we ended up walking to Pompeii from a different location. When we finally got there, we wanted to get a guide and so we did and the way these things work is the guide charges 100 Euros for a tour, but if you can get enough strangers to tag along, you can split it up and potentially pay really little. So we got some other people and headed in. The guide is soooo funny lol, and I guess because of this we became friends with the rest of the group of which two are from New Jersey! Haha.

After Pompeii we wanted to go back to Naples and get our pizza, which Naples is sooo famous for. We actually saw two Asian girls and I just started talking to them and we became friends lol! Turns out they’re from California and we ended up getting pizza together ha. At this point, I’m already satisfied with the day and ready to go home. We head to the train station on a run because we were late for the train, turns out the train was delayed for 20 minutes…

Then those 20 minutes becomes 40, then 50, then 75 lol? We ended up going onto another train which takes longer, and it was one of the overnight ones with the beds LOL so we randomly selected a cabin and just sat down. Then two English people came in and we just started talking haha. A bit after a German and his friend came and we like all became the best of friends in the 2 hour train ride LOL.

I love traveling by myself and not going on a tour for this particular reason. You can lose your way sometimes but find something much more unexpected and beautiful. We exchanged emails and I have a place to stay in London yay :)
